2015 V Madrone Le Prechaun
Tasting Notes
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Le Prechaun is intensely scented of crushed black currants, ripe blackberries and plums with hints of cigar box, pencil lead and dried Mediterranean herbs. The oak is still quite prominent on the medium to full-bodied palate, although the ripe, muscular fruit and firm structure suggest this should marry in 2-3 years and drink well over the next 20. 92 points, Wine Advocate, Lisa Perrotti-Brown
