2013 V Madrone Cabernet Sauvignon
The aromas of wild berries bing cherry preserve and champagne raisins are interwoven with a combination of complex caramel, freshly baked wheat bread and a spice rack of sage, clove, cardamom and allspice. The entry is massive but integrated and is a decadent mixture of lush fruit spice and a long, luscious finish. It will be a joy to open now and decant, but will pay dividends to those who will cellar this wine for upwards of 18 years.
